Diamond T-Bar

There are 3 different t bar widths 8mm 6mm 4mm. The width of the t bar affects the side to side and front to back action of the rear motor pod. The wider the t-bar the stiffer the action. Stiff side to side action will give the car more cut (turn in) when entering a turn and will carry more speed through a turn. Stiff front to back will give the car more on power steering but less straight line traction. The narrower the t bar the softer the action. Soft side to side action will give more rear traction but carry less speed through a turn. This makes the car easier to drive however it will feel lazy on a tight track.
8mm T-bar = Higher Corner speed, More on power steering and Less rear traction.
6mm T-bar = Less corner speed, more rear traction.
4mm T-bar = Most rear traction, easier to drive, not as fast through a turn.

      T-bar Installation

The diamond t-bar does not sit directly on the chassis. It mounts on top of two rubber o-rings. The o-rings are used on the two center screws only. The o-rings allow the t-bar to pivot when tweaking the chassis.

Screw two 2-56 screws through the bottom of the chassis in the two center holes. Screw them just enough to press the rubber o-rings onto the tip of each screw.

Line up the center holes of the t bar over the o-rings. Holding the Diamond bar firmly against the chassis continue screwing the two screws through the chassis and t bar.

VERY IMPORTANT do not cross thread the t bar. It will misalign the entire rear pod. Should this happen remove the screw and try again to screw straight through the t bar. Then screw two 2-56 nuts onto the two center t bar screws.
Incorrect t-bar alignment. You want the bottom of the t bar to be parallel with the bottom of the chassis
DO NOT CROSS THREAD
Correct alignment
PARALLEL TO CHASSIS

Once the t bar is aligned with the chassis you may screw the tweak adjustment screws into the t bar. Screw the tweak adjustment screws in so the t bar sits level with the chassis.

When you adjust the tweak of the car be sure to loosen one side before tightening the other.
